The NFL has nothing on these guys!

Yesterday we celebrated Brigham's 9th birthday with his friends. He was patient enough to wait for the holidays to pass to have his party. Plus he really wanted to do mud football so we had to wait until the weather was just right. It could not have been better. After 1 week of rain here in California and then a half an hour of Charles spinning doughnuts with the quad in the dirt and top it off with some extra sprinkler action.....it was game time. The boys had a blast and got very serious about their game. Brigham was kind enough to let Hudson try on the flag football belts and let him "hang" with the big boys. Brooklyn was content to side on the sidelines and cheer the boys on. (That only lasted 5 minutes and then she wanted to go inside) It was so much fun.

What a nice MOM! What a mess, but oh what fun memories! That's awesome! My mom always reminds me of when I was in high school and actually showered and did my hair before we went to play mud football! OH MY!

Sounds like great fun!

How did you deal with all the muddy boys? Were they not allowed into the house? Did you have cake and stuff out in the barn?? I can't imagine all the muddy little boys coming inside!?!?!
Can you believe how old our kids are getting?! :)

No way! Mud football! You guys are geniuses. That sounds like such a blast.

Happy Birthday to Brigham. What a great brother to let Hudson in on the fun. That's not always easy to do--but it meas so much to the littler one.
