Charles Turns 30 - Again

We had a big BBQ and Game Night for Charles' birthday. We invited a lot of our dear friends from Rocklin to come and see our new place and enjoy some adult conversation. We BBQ'd tri tip with caramelized red onions and Lemon Herbed Chicken. Everyone else helped out with the side dishes and the homemade ice cream. ( We actually tried a new flavor, on accident, coconut cream! Yummy) We never ended up playing capture the Flag because it got dark too quickly. We didn't want people breaking some body part running around our property. That could happen VERY easily out here with so many fences and trees. We had such a great time and I can not believe that I did not get a picture of the birthday boy. We were both so busy being hostesses. It got a little chilly that night. We were all outside with the tiki torches and candle light. The people who used to live here brought me a beautiful bucket of flowers that we had on all the tables.We always have such a great time when we are all together.
