A really mean mom

So am I a really mean mom for making Brooklyn go to school yesterday looking like this? Does vanity start this early? I guess that she is 11. Not so young anymore. This is not a case of child abuse - just a 6 year old who doesn't know her own strength when it comes to throwing a frisbee. Did I mention that it was in the dark because they were trying out the light up frisbee that Brooklyn got for her birthday. It was more of a big welt when it happened but when she woke up the next morning it looked like this. How bad does it have to be to let your kids stay home from school? (Her dad says that it is her badge of courage and to show it off proud.)

OUCH!
Chloe was sent to school after her scooter accident that resulted in 17 stitches in her chin. She was swollen, but I'm pretty sure she went to school. (That was years ago, so know really knows...) I think she had a weekend to recover a bit....
anyhow, Brooklyn looked like she was in a good fight!! She should have walked around telling everyone: "You should see the other guy!" :)
And Danee, you really are the meanest mom in this whole world, really, you are... the meanest. (yea right....)
:)

I HATE frisbees. That is how I got that bump on my nose, and I hate it. I wasn't even playing frisbee and they said " Jeri" and threw it at me and I looked just in time for the frisbee to hit me right in the nose.

I went to school after my car accient my sophomore year and I looked way worse then Brooky.

Poor Brooklyn, I hope she feels better tomorrow.!

No, you are not a really mean mom for that. I think we all have gone to school looking less than we wanted. It makes you tough! Hehe! Really, it doesn't look too bad. Way to be a trooper, Brooklyn

Oh, the eye of a tiger for sure! A bet all of the boys at school thought that was so cool.

I love how you have the Rocky music in the backgroud. Makes her appear like a toughie!
